Natural Living

Natural Living

What exactly is natural living? It's is a lifestyle approach that emphasizes living in harmony with nature and minimizing the use of synthetic or artificial products. It encompasses various aspects of daily life, including diet, personal care, household products, and environmental practices. In 2017 I started exploring this way of living and doing things. I introduced the idea to my husband and shortly after we swapped out toxic items for non toxic items, we kept on researching to see what else we could do to lead a healthier life. Fast forward: now 7 years later we are all in. I am truly amazed at how deep we got into this natural lifestyle. We aren't perfect, but we are doing a lot better than before with how we eat, what we use on our skin, and everyday household items. We only buy the most natural and organic products that fits our budget. Most of the times I make the cleaning products from other natural ingredients which saves a ton of money.

By the grace of God we will have a farm soon where we can grow all our foods and other things. Living this way has brought us closer to God because it allows us to get back to the original ways of doing certain things and living a more simple and meaningful life. Health-wise things have improved drastically because we eat the way God intended for us to which brings healing.

On this natural journey, God has opened up my eyes to the numerous things we can do a create not only for our family, but on being an inspiration to others.

  • Mindful Living: Natural living encourages mindfulness and awareness of your impact on the environment and overall well-being. This can involve meditation, spending time in nature, and cultivating a connection to nature.

  • Holistic Health: A holistic approach to health and wellness focusing on the connection between the mind, body, and environment. This includes things like herbal medicine, acupuncture, and other alternative therapies.

  • Outdoor Activities: Embracing natural living often involves spending time outdoors and engaging in activities such as hiking, gardening, camping, or simply enjoying nature. Connecting with the natural world can promote physical and mental well-being.

  • Minimalism: Many practitioners of natural living embrace minimalism, opting for simplicity and moderation. This can include decluttering your space, and reducing consumption of unnecessary things.

Overall, natural living is about making conscious choices that support health, sustainability, and connection to nature, leading to a more balanced and harmonious way of life.
