Benefits of Plant Based Living

Benefits of Plant Based Living

Whenever someone asks me if I miss eating meat, I chuckle and ask them this question: Out of all the animals you eat, how many of them eat other animals? If you tell me that they give you protein when you eat them, I still ask the same question. Worse if these animals are locked up in slaughter houses where they are fed GMO things and get no fresh plants or grass, then your definitely not getting any nutrients, only the toxicity that they ingest including their own fecal matter and bacteria. Cows(beef) chickens, pigs (pork), seafood(marine life), goats, birds, oxen, etc- non of them eat other animals in order to get strength and build muscle. Instead they get all their protein from feeding on plants. Yep!

Are you looking to improve your health, boost your energy levels, and help the environment all at the same time? Look no further than a plant-based diet! Not only is it good for you, but it's also good for the planet. Let's dive into the many benefits of incorporating more plant-based foods into your daily meals.

Why Choose a Plant-Based Diet?

Plant-based diets are rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that can help reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and certain types of cancers. By focusing on whole, plant-based foods, you can improve your overall health and well-being.

Daniel’s Plant-Based Diet

  • Daniel 1:12-15 - "Please test your servants for ten days: Give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink. Then compare our appearance with that of the young men who eat the royal food, and treat your servants in accordance with what you see."
    • Daniel and his friends chose a plant-based diet over the king’s rich foods, and they appeared healthier as a result

God’s Original Diet for Humanity

  • Genesis 1:29 - "Then God said, 'I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.'"
